I'm so sorry to hear about your experience. I wish it were surprising. The longer I've reported on health and medical research, the more stories like these I hear, and I've experienced my own medical gaslighting as well (nowhere near to what you did). I'm glad you eventually got diagnoses, but that doesn't take away the pain of the long journey it required.
